Week 13 of 14
John, Acts and Romans
Days 85 to 91: John 2 to 2 Corinthians 3, 83 chapters.
John is the most reflective Gospel, built around signs and long conversations, and chapters 13 to 17 slow down for the last night before the cross. Acts follows the news about Jesus from Jerusalem to Rome, through Peter in the first half and Paul in the second. Romans is Paul's fullest explanation of the gospel: all have sinned, grace is offered to all, and nothing can separate us from the love of God (chapter 8). The week ends in 1 Corinthians, Paul's letter to a gifted and divided church.
Watch for Romans 8.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only born Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16
